The pen and ink experience on the the Toshiba R400 is excellent. In Tablet mode, the R400 feels very much like a slate and the pen glides effortlessly over the smooth surface of the screen. Ink from the pen flows as naturally as if you were using paper and pen making the experience with the pen the best I have experienced to date.
